ABOUT

I'm Ruth, a CBT and REBT therapist helping clients UK wide, online, or face to face in my therapy room.

I integrate a variety of alternative therapies such as REBT, compassion focused therapy, acceptance focused and CT Therapy, tailoring to each individual's personal problems and situations. I specialise in guidance through general anxiety, anxiety at work, OCD, relationship issues, low self esteem, health anxiety, depression and low mood.

My approach is a collaborative journey, introducing cognitive tools to help manage your unhealthy negative emotions and thoughts, resulting in a calmer and more accepting mindset.

For those who prefer simply talking, I am an experienced counsellor and life coach.

As a person who has battled through my own anxiety and depression, I can relate to you and I am open about how I tackled my anxiety through CBT and how I continue to do so. And I can now help others through their emotional problems with empathy and familiarity. Together we will work through your problems, showing you the tools to get by with mental resilience.

I also work with companies and EAPs to provide mental health support for employees.

I offer an initial free 15 minute phone call before booking an initial session.
